Color Photo Assignment

There are a million different reasons why I love this photo so much.  First and foremost, my goal is to be a music photographer and photograph musicians.  This photo inspires me.  I also admire this photo because the single lamp in the corner and the sunlight combine to create a beautiful silhouette that I want to work on learning how to make photographs with indoor lighting, as Clinch did here.  Even though the lighting is dim, all the necessary information to understand the photo is there and I feel like the colors are still vibrant.   I can just hear the music playing.  I like that the color relies heavily on the lighting.  The warm colored lamp exposes the brown wood floor, the golden rug, and the red paint on the wall.  The window light shows the cool green wall panels.  I admire the use of shadows and warm colors, a light cool colors to create a creative, mellow mood that Bruce Springsteen was probably feeling during this shoot.
